What we’re finding out during the Trump presidency is that while lying & misleading people is great for getting elected in America today, it’s a comically bad way to govern. Science doesn’t care about your feelings, neither does reality. The Trump Show will have disastrous outcomes for all of us.

The amount of money this administration spends on ego-boosting nonsense is staggering. Trump himself has spent billions on golfing, rigging out his gift plane, gilding up the WH interiors, turning the Rose Garden into a patio, & the ballroom. Next up: the statue garden & the triumph arch.

Every clip I have seen of him he speaks like a thoughtful, honest human rather than a politician. It was so obvious during the debate because the other 2 men answered like practiced politicians with canned answers & he answered like someone really thinking about the question being asked.

All Republicans do this except the avowed never-Trumpers. If they complain about some problem arising from the Trump administration, they will point the finger at anyone but Dear Leader. MTG is currently doing this in regards to the Epstein files not being released. She blames Bondi not Trump.

I have so many questions about living on a diet of only meat & salt. Like how do you not get scurvy? I also question how the daughter leaps from describing her dad as having “decades of mold exposure” to having the symptoms of being “spiritually attacked.”

Maybe the thought of slavery is abhorrent to me because my childhood was not great. My mother slapped & hit whenever she wanted because she was an authoritarian with the power to do what she thought best. Not smiling—you were punished for being sullen. I can easily imagine being owned by a bully.

You need to believe in Christ in order to believe in an Antichrist. Judging by their words & actions I would say almost no one in power believes in Christ really; they only pretend—and that includes Mike Johnson. He displays no evidence that he believes in the Christ of the Bible.

I’ll be looking forward to that. I’ve read that many who went back to the building after being released by ICE found that all their possessions were gone. 💔💔💔 That would be hard for me but for someone with kids watching every penny? Disaster.

Reading about Ghislaine’s time in Club Fed reminds me a lot of Epstein’s first stint in jail. She is receiving unusual treatment that’s not offered to other prisoners. Like the entire prison being on lockdown when she sees visitors in private. Ghislaine, like Jeffery, has powerful friends in power.

That's the thing about the Charlie Kirk. He wasn't selling himself to 15-25 year olds as much as he was insulting and harassing 15-25 year olds on camera then raising money from old shitheads who hate 15-25 year olds and think that harassment is outreach. Kirk's target audience was Gen X bigots.

Way too many people seem convinced that the day Trump dies all this somehow goes away.

People will snap out of it. No one will be able to harness his base.

I think this is simply wrong. But I also think Trump will still be “speaking” to MAGA after he’s gone.

Not just around the pentagon. Anyone reporting on this administration needs to stop playing nice so they can keep their access. Trump craves the media spotlight more than any politician but right now he can cut off personal access on a whim and reporters are allowing it by not standing up to him.

Trump is working on creating a “Ukraine Victory Fund,” which would be financed through new tariffs on China, per The Telegraph. Trump has instructed Bessent to discuss the plan with European counterparts ahead of Zelensky’s visit to Washington on Friday.

The US Treasury is NOT Trump’s personal bank account. If he wants to start a fund and donate to it and get his wealthy friends to donate to it, that’s fine. What he can’t do is divert tax money into a special fund. It’s so unconstitutional that I can’t believe anyone would think it’s a good idea.

I’m baffled by how the president can just set up a special “fund” and divert USA tax revenue into it. Once again people need to be clear: The United States treasury is NOT Donald Trump’s personal bank account no matter how much he acts like it is.

We are not a nation of White Supremacists—they are a minority—the vast majority are not clamoring to live in an apartheid state. Unfortunately Trump was able to fool enough people desperate for economic relief that he was their populist champion. He’s only a champion for rich, white men.

The way Republicans are allowing this craziness without any pushback is astounding. I say Repubs because they’re the only ones w/the power to curb Trump’s bizarre whims. He is like a toddler who’s allowed to do anything he wants & all the adults around him smile, clap, & tell him he’s a clever boy.
