Hiking up hear last week I was grateful that the 2020 Grizzly Creek fire in Glenwood Canyon did not affect Hanging Lake

Burnt trees are visible at the top of the cliffs surround Hanging Lake in both photos. Hanging Lake also survived the flash flood that destroyed the trail from the Colorado river to the lake in 2020.
