So, the new icon just looks like a bootleg of bluesky. The gradient doesn't scale down well, it just makes the silhouette look fuzzy with the blue shading on blue background; like it was hastily cut out with the lasso tool or something.

Where does one look for curated functional parts and prints? Printables has a good ratio of parts to trinkets, but aggregators like yeggi drag up buckets of random toys and gimmicks. Thingiverse has some real gems but they're nestled into the figurative ocean-bed of a SEA of trinkets.

For any 3d-printing, robot-making tinkerers out there; watch some content on Aaed Musa's channel and give him a sub. Also read some of the more detailed articles on his website. His work shows a great progression on iterative design.
