"Sleeping in a Sea of Stars" I painted this mermaid in 2018, on Mother's Day while recovering from a recent miscarriage. I remember sitting in the bath for 2 hours visualizing this scene, and wishing I was her and could disappear. Mother's Day is hard for many, and my heart goes out to them. #mermay
