well. looks like the cat distribution system delivered a little one to our door tonight. not sure if we’re going to be able to keep her(?) but she’s super sweet and staying warm and fed in the basement until we get her to the vet!

i’m in Michigan so it snowed all day yesterday, and today when i went outside to shovel, i found cat paw prints going to each of the doors of my house. i put food and a blanket out in our patio, cracked the door, and our lil visitor has stopped by twice already 🥲

living in Michigan is tricky because you’ll see someone wearing a red baseball cap at a distance & have to hold your breath until you’re close enough to determine if they’re a Red Wings fan or a MAGA loser.

there’s a man that is a client where i work and today he was impressed i remembered his name and i said it’s because i have a good memory from working front desk like that, but in reality, he’s always been referred to as “Creepy [name redacted]” to me, so…it stuck.
