I honestly couldn’t give a fuck if she defended that prick Woody Allen, Mike.

The great actress Diane Keaton has left us at the age of 79. Too soon to say good-bye to the woman who made us smile at the quirky Annie Hall, and who broke our hearts in Reds. Your charm and talent will be sorely missed.

There are so many Diane Keaton performances to remember, but a lot of people haven't seen Reds, and A) my God, see it, it is a masterpiece and B) her performance as Louise Bryant is one of the bravest, toughest, least sympathy-courting pieces of work by an American actress in the last 50 years.

Oh man. Diane Keaton. Yes - the first two Godfather movies. But, come on, her performance as Louise Bryant in Reds is formidable and in a just world everyone would recognise this.

I’ve just seen a dilapidated Nissan Micra, half the paint peeling of its roof, parked on Lowestoft’s London Road South, sporting a tiny bumper sticker, which I couldn’t read until I leaned down to peer at it, which said ‘I ❤️ MILFS’.This is Britain in 2025.

In the words of Alan Partridge- “Scum. Subhuman scum.” I’m talking about Farage to be clear. Not teachers. They are all cool and sexy.

I first found out when I went to a Peter Saville exhibition about twenty years ago in one part of the gallery all the Unknown Pleasures stuff and then in another this. I was really shocked. Both are glorious.

I went to see this at Sheffield Showroom around the time it was released and had forgotten all about it and then I read Stuart Braithwaite’s book last week and found out it had a cult following. Think a rewatch will trigger lots of memories.

No worries - didn’t mean to come across so bluntly but had just come in from beta band. That’s my excuse!

The 72-76 is perfect for long night time drives but 80-82 is my favourite.

It’s great. Love the Malcolm McLaren track on it.

Both the 77-79 and 80-82 comps are phenomenal.
