Loved the staging of Hamlet at @nationaltheatre.org.uk Felt like a proper ghost story from the start. Francesca Mills was outstanding as Ophelia. If she isn't nominated for a best supporting actress award I'll riot.

Using seeing Joe Locke in Clarkston and a pre-show pub lunch as Friday filler to stretch the event out but then having both as an extra expense is such a joke.

You can go to the pub and see the play without giving these guys £29 for the privilege of, what? Paying for *their* expenses?

This is partly the basis of an argument between Shakespeare and Marlowe in the play Born With Teeth. Marlowe dislikes Queen Margaret and Suffolk in Henry VI - which they're co-writing - because of their betrayal but Shakespeare likes them because he loves their relationship, which he finds engaging.
