Pencil drawing of Kit Connor with his dog Basil.

Or Basil with his human Kit Connor, if you prefer...
Loved the staging of Hamlet at @nationaltheatre.org.uk Felt like a proper ghost story from the start. Francesca Mills was outstanding as Ophelia. If she isn't nominated for a best supporting actress award I'll riot.

The players doing The Mousetrap as a Jamie Lloyd production absolutely sent me!
To be or not to be seeing Hamlet, that is...what I'm doing...
Rummaging in my bag for something and just found some Evita confetti from weeks ago...
Or a dragon passed by and scorched it.

In separate NT bookshop news, I've picked up a signed copy of the Born With Teeth play text so that's an unexpected bonus.
Someone must've rushed over to buy it.

Not Sit Down by James?

Missed opportunity.

Using seeing Joe Locke in Clarkston and a pre-show pub lunch as Friday filler to stretch the event out but then having both as an extra expense is such a joke.

You can go to the pub and see the play without giving these guys £29 for the privilege of, what? Paying for *their* expenses?

If you answered yes then please subject yourself to this piss poor attempt to collect non-refundable registration fees of £29 a pop for a list of barely co-ordernated things...

Are you a Heartstopper fan who wants to be ripped off? Are you a fan of Alice Oseman's work that fancies being part of a exploitative exercise dressed up as an "event"? Do you want to mostly end up organising much of it yourself anyway?

Then #heartsky here is the very thing for you...
Played by Colin Firth in the film that remarkably doesn't exist...
It’s the 111th anniversary today of the birth of Harry Rée, who was a teacher and conscientious objector when the Second World War broke out, and by the time it ended, when he was 31, had invented ‘blackmail sabotage’ and got a DSO, an OBE, a Croix de Guerre, and a Medaille de la Resistance
Joe Locke and Ruaridh Mollica doing some perfect wordless expressionistic acting...
This is partly the basis of an argument between Shakespeare and Marlowe in the play Born With Teeth. Marlowe dislikes Queen Margaret and Suffolk in Henry VI - which they're co-writing - because of their betrayal but Shakespeare likes them because he loves their relationship, which he finds engaging.
How about...

One Smurf.
Two Smurf.
A fuck load of Smurf.
New #RunningManMovie trailer has dropped. Going by some replies and quote posts, here's another reminder...

Edgar Wright's new film The Running Man is not a remake of the film, it's an adaptation of the book.

Don't make me say it a third time.
Play the game or the game plays you. Watch the New Trailer for The #RunningManMovie – Only in theatres November 14
Should be like sheep.

A Smurf. Several Smurf.
Bluesky user response: Have you tried pen and paper?

Me in general response: Ah, that's shit. Hope you find a way around it.
