Luckily, his love for Cui Shan was platonic, and the line wasn’t crossed. Acting-wise, he did an excellent job.

At least those scenes justified the hours I wasted watching this mess. One note: the actor playing Hedgehog should have been younger, as he portrayed a teenager, but it was obvious he was an adult, whereas the actress playing young Cui Shan was a minor. +

If you’re looking for a modern crime series, disappointment is certain. Law enforcement, psychology, and medicine are all portrayed poorly.
The best part of the drama is the flashbacks of Hedgehog’s life and his relationships with Cui Shan and A-Shui. +

and seeks encouragement from an outsider like me. However, Babel truly tests the audience’s patience from the very start. It disrespects viewers' intelligence, has numerous plot holes, and promotes misogyny - this drama embodies all of that. +

I don't want to deter anyone from watching dramas, even if they're poorly made. I try to find redeeming qualities, hoping someone is looking for reasons to enjoy a show +
