I’m gonna go with Yuri Espoir, The Locked Tomb series, the Teixcalaan series and The Handmaiden. Not just for how they explore lesbian relationships and dynamics but also how the themes and subject matter are woven into the characters’ queerness along with the intricate plots

the radical idea that i dont think a story’s ending is good simply because the creator is satisfied with it. i saw how PLL ended & how Yellowjackets has been crashing & burning. Kusanagi we may become enemies but #ThatsOkayIStilLoveYona

no bc they HAVE to be choosing the bad yuri so they can say “see yuri doesnt sell!” the weird weird slop tho that i know sells super well. I remember seeing a video about a guy who only reads seinen/shonen & “stuff im not proud of” but never shoujo so… the customers are there
