This story is why I'm trying so hard to get my dad's service records.
My dad was a hero, but because of how he was treated as a Vietnam vet, he left the air force and never looked back.
More people need to hear this story.
My Daddy deserves to be honored for this.

Every little girl's first hero is her daddy. My Daddy stayed my hero for my whole life. And I think he needs to be recognized as a hero by more people because of this story. It's always been one of my favorites (a 🧵)
