honestly so obsessed with characters like zaitsu though. if togashi is someone thats externally very normal passing but actually has many deep seated issues then zaitsu is the opposite LOL his interview answer sounding unhinged and scary but if u get what he means hes the most normal and enlightened

AH YES i forgot.. the famous one poker hen... im trying to not be too scattered with how im going through my backlog so i may not get to it until after i finish the aa series (i also have access to pl vs pw so that adds to it) but my kaiji initiative has been rekindled LOL

and the tone is definitely a lot different from what youre used to with kaiji (its suuuuper lighthearted bc its a comedy) but genuinely it is so funny i think youll have a lot of fun with it. my partner and i stil reference it to each other its legendary

also as an aside have you seen the tonegawa spinoff yet. its so funny. the narrator for the tonegawa spinoff is the same va as the lang twins from the cipher the video ova which is one of the most hilarious niche anime fun facts i know LMFAO

YES THATS ALSO THE REASON WHY I WATCHED IT TOO AKJDSFJDSAFLSD i think he had some other minor roles in other animated works but. yeah. its minimal... but YEAHHHH its been a good several years since i watched it so my specific memory is hazy but i love how unique the setting is for a gambling series

i feel like each time i try a new thing i end up getting disillusioned and withdraw into my established friend group. which is fine like im content but having an outer community is definitely different and imo important but . ougghgh .
