Forget using AI to turn in your last minute art assignment. I have 15 ready to use ideas here and came up with 24 more today that I’ll publish soon. Educators can use some of these for assignments as well.
I added fifteen new scores by me to my Substack and a note about handwritten scores. I’m now working on coming up with 10-15 scores daily. Please perform my scores. That isn’t copying my work, the point is to give away art ideas.

Frances McDormand, one of my favorite actresses, is doing a performance piece at the Quaker Museum. It’s so cool that artists are utilizing this space as a resource. apple.news/A9_blT47VTMa...

Written score for “Rock Piece” by Pauline Oliveros. If you have any scores like this that involve audience participation please send them to me and we may perform them in Alabama.

I kinda admire how My Bloody Valentine spent 20+ years on the follow-up to the legendarily meticulous "Loveless" and then the album has several songs that are clearly in-studio improv jams, including one where they play to a drum machine's "hoedown" beat (my fave track)

Some of my seedlings have popped up. If I can grow vegetables from seeds anyone can do it. I just read the instructions on the seed packets.

My first time working on MDF did not yield good results. At least it was all done on scrap wood.

“Sound Event Checklist.” 3’ x 5’ oil on canvas from 2019. I can’t sell this on my Etsy but if you want a giant painting let me know. Maybe you could commission one.

I was able to carry this synth to a gig. It’s lighter weight than I thought it was. I know people look down on Behringer products but they’re affordable and good to practice on. The oscillators are as good as what you would hear on a Paia or MFOS.

I kind of like the painting like this. Maybe this style matches the expressive drone music I’ve been doing lately.

most of my web traffic is coming from Japan now which I love because I love Japanese noise music (I used to book shows according to where I got the most social media hits and it actually worked)
