I have a town with monsters including Pumpkin head people, but a full pumpkin town shows a wonderful dedication to that specific gourd based demographic.

On the plus side, they usually have the uncanny ability to find hidden doors. Absent tug of the odd book or candle sconce and viola, hijinks ensue. And you never have to go looking for the monster, simply look behind them.

Like your trying to outrun feelings of doubt and inadequacy. You stop drawing long enough to think about it, the imposter syndrome will catch you.

Giviing yourself a mental quota on an act of inspiration or artistic expression is frustrating. It's like making magic into office work.
