Hello #bsky! I'm Andrew. I'm not a Twitter refugee so I don't come with any follows or followers. I just believe in the ideas behind this platform (though I also believed in FB and Google Plus in their beginnings, whatever that means).

I'm a Professor, and also PhD student and a musician. #newsky
gonna be honest, I'm having trouble not buying another one, as a backup in case the first ever goes bust. it is simultaneously somehow both the best and cheapest MIDI guitar controller I've ever used... and they don't manufacture it anymore.
this is the Fender Mustang Pro (a game controller for Rock Band 3) using its MIDI output and a custom firmware I've made for extra features

it's my favorite new music toy in recent years.

see it's the opposite that I'm confused about. how do you follow so many people?! I have trouble keeping up with the twenty something I follow... what does your feed even look like?
sometime in the next couple weeks I'll try to make a demo video. it's absolutely my favorite music toy purchase in years.
do you remember the Guitar Hero / Rock Band games? this is the "Rock Band Fender Mustang Pro" controller. it's a controller for the game but the team who designed it decided to also make it fully functional MIDI controller. you can even plug in expression and sustain pedals. $80 on amazon right now
I see your red Fender toy, and raise you another red Fender toy but this one also works as a MIDI controller somehow
