I may be returning to hobby coding finally. After maybe 15 years.

Do what you love, you never work a day. But when what you love was your hobby, you really don't want to do that in your free time too.

Coding for work, coding for a side hustle. It really left zero brain space to want to code more.

Any time I get depressed or homesick, I remember that no one but me cares* about that. Because no one can really pull me out of my own funk. And it was my own choice to move so far.

I just feel it's important to not hide the sadness behind a fake smile
