There are people who have valid criticism of the whole thing while others are just personal takes. But the key is that everything has nuance and people are different. For me as long as I'm not hurting anyone, I can enjoy whatever I want in fiction. That whole thing had me drained...😮‍💨

I've been watching a lot of TikToks that have nuanced discussions on enjoying dark fiction especially those with non-con or dub-con and I learned a lot. I'm kind of at a place where I can enjoy whatever the fuck I want without feeling guilty because it's fiction! There's nothing to feel guilty for.

if you feel it's messing you up, step away. don't assume it's messing everyone up and you need to eradicate it because you caught a case of the feel-bads from something. go sit with that and think about why instead of pissing in everyone else's cheerios.

Fun fact: When expressing the eyes, I like it better when the iris stays its original size, but the pupil dilates or constricts. Realistically, that's how our eyes work. Plus, I like how it looks.
