A team of vets, techs and handlers drove to Kandahar to do checkups on the working dogs at the border facility and airport.

They're all safe and have had a stellar set of checkups.

We're hopeful to see 755 Patreon followers tonight, or $2000 on this months rent, or #14 on MGC.

Meet Laila! She has been brought to us this evening.

We'll be moving animals into our new facility tomorrow, so check back for the videos and photos.

Generous donors have covered renovations, and 4 months of this facility's rent.

Sarcoptic mange is the most visible parasite, but we started treatment when he arrived, and he should feel better each day.

🌻 Baki Update!

Baki has a long recovery, he's a very shy boy, initially fearful.

He has an old break in his front leg, old enough that he puts weight on it sometimes.

The injury isn't recent or critical, so we are going to work on getting weight on, healing lacerations and removing parasites.

Our clinic is near-full with critical care and post-op patients, including darling Baki, brought in last night.

Baki is doing well 💕

Our caretakers are keeping our residents calm and happy as our construction team puts the finishing touch on our newest small shelter facility.

I’m hoping to find a home that can continue to be more relaxed and patient with me as I continue on this learning journey. I like to relax most of the time and I'm content with watching the world, but I am a fast runner and need to get that energy out sometimes.
