Suppose I ought to actually *post* something. An introduction then:

I am Kryppers. I'm a #Blender3D and #Pixelart artist, and I occasionally do some miniature design and architectural modelmaking.
That unusual cultural shift was then propagated to the rest of the west via popular media, and now we're stuck with the expectation of leaving the household without the original financial conditions which permitted it in the first place. :/
I think I read about this once:~

I recall the gist was that In post WW2 American economy, there was high demand for young working men, so they ended up with a lot of spending power and were able to leave the family home much earlier than in other societies.
I think I'd still like to see him in some gritty tech-noir setting, but it's cool that he's getting interesting roles like that.
Clancy Brown in some kind of bleak sci-fi crime noir.

He could probably carry a regular crime noir, but I feel he would appreciate some robot bartenders thrown in there for good measure.
If you're talking about the rounded square transition on the path texture, that can happen with clamping applied to interpolated texture filtering?
The local supermarket has already started selling Christmas chocolates.

Stop it.
Heck, right now I'm having to doctor my messages to allow for the character limit which impacts how I might want to actually type to get the tone across correctly.

Having a three character sign off to guarantee it's read correctly is pretty useful to some folks.
*shrugs*
The internet is a bigger place now. Larger communities, faster throughput. I think we had an opportunity to learn it in more niche circles where trust was easier to come by.

I think it's kinder to see it as a tool for managing the discrepency than as a judgement on folk's reading level.
I see tone indicators as more of an accessibility option. Folks might not have English as their first language or might not know (or trust that you know) the rules well enough to rely on punctuation alone.

It's a useful way to bridge the gap and avoid conflict through misinterpretation. ๐Ÿค”
Love how clean and bright that is!

Was the "how-to-play" a bedrock feature? I don't recall ever seeing that on Java.
Ohh! We featured in the Favourite Game's list ๐Ÿ˜€

Such an honour, I never thought we would get this far when we started jamming a few years back.

Big Thanks to Mark and the #GMTK community. Already looking forward to next year!

Are there any assets or features from update 6 that I should showcase or chat about?

I haven't done anything showing off the conveyors yet, I ought to do that soon.
.. It did not, however, apply itself to the Control nodes like menus and text pop ups that weren't part of the 3D scene.

This might have been handled better with a proper screen shader, but with the time constraints I just manually recoloured the UI elements to match.
I was originally going to do this via a shader, but this worked just as well and in a fraction of the time it would have taken me to work out the shader. (not very good at those yet)

The original intention was to have situations change the gradient reference so we could recolour scenes on the fly.
Here's a fun little trick we used for Circuit Breaker.

All of the assets were made in greyscale, and the final palette was applied using #Godot adjustments settings in an Environment Node.

This made tweaking the final palette, introducing new colours and shading certain elements SUPER quick.
where the heck does the word revamped come from..?

I don't think I've ever just vamped something...
Oh hey! We did pretty good! ๐ŸŽ‰

Big thanks to everyone who played our entry. Was a lot of fun seeing everyones comments and feedback. Next year we'll try and not make a game that makes a small section of players motion sick ๐Ÿ˜…

And congrats to the other #GMTK entries!
I don't understand this. It says under guidance from the Equality and Human Rights Commission, but their website has an entire page on gender reassignment discrimination.

Fuckin' ghoulish.
