Declare war, order an invasion of Venezuela's oil fields - and suspend any and all US elections... I think Venezuela is unlikely to retaliate unless China openly supports them (and China may have sufficient non-military means to destroy the US economy)

Oops... but I guess without decent social security it is also a lot harder to get labor statistics right... scary how this kludgy accounting translates into claims that the US economy (and currency) is magically stronger than Europe's or Southeast Asia's no matter what

Eloise, my 9 year old toad, changes colour with the season. Today she's wearing her best autumn colours. Toads alter their skin colour using pigment-containing cells that expand or contract in response to temperature and light. Soon she'll turn dark brown as the nights get cold.

I guess the Peace Prize has (almost?) always been more of a political statement, an expression of support for a perceived plan or general idea, the list of recipients includes various who were either two-faced or ultimately powerless. But similar could be said of all Nobels - humans judging humans
