Every time I think about how my manuscript's word count makes it basically DOA for querying, I get sad. But then I remind myself this first book has always been about proving I can finish something. That helps a little.

Reached the end of act 2 in my WIP manuscript. Already have entirely too many words, but I’m proud to have gotten this far. I’m so close to finally finishing something after chasing that feeling for 20 years.

I have thought about it. And as much as I adored season 2, I think the story would have been so much better if Arcane had another season to flesh out the middle a bit more.

For all the way overpowered stuff that gets added to Pokemon VGC each generation, I feel like we don’t give the devs enough credit for the banger additions that are more subtle.
