Collectivization puts the land and the crops in the hands of the state, turning the peasants into serfs. The peasants, quite reasonably, aren't very motivated to maximize production in this arrangement.

What do you have against private space exploration? SpaceX was instrumental to getting space development out of the rut it's been in since the end of the space race. Elon's deteriorating mental state impacting Starship development is one of the more tragic parts of this whole mess.

Turns out that you can't have a planned command economy without an authoritarian dictatorship. Moreover, beyond all the problems inherent to authoritarian dictatorships, it turns out that central planning is much less efficient at resource allocation and labor motivation than markets.

Socialism is exactly what was implemented in the USSR and Mao's China (in their own words). It was the intermediate step on the road to Communism that all the Communist-controlled states got stuck in.

Sounds like you need to read up on Holodomor and the Great Leap Forward. Even outside Communism's worst excesses, collectivization = lower production = less food.

Planning out a new flight route is much faster and cheaper than building new transportation infrastructure. These routes are also easily stackable, which makes the system scalable. A world of flying waymos would be the next best thing to a network of teleportation booths.

The term limit provides a disincentive for preventing a genuinely popular leader, like Putin or Erdogan, from intentionally making the electoral system non-functional. To work, though, it has to be a lifetime limit, not sequential, otherwise you get the Medvedev shuffle.
