I can only hope. It just needs to start with 1 so momentum can be built. Insurance companies can just get away with anything and I hope this one works at the state level. I wish more would be done federally but don't see that happening soon.
Its looking like a tougher year for United Healthcare with their CEO stepping down and other practices coming to light.
The Change Healthcare cyberattack is what got me started in making this type of content. A year later, I have grown a lot as a content maker since then so following up on this felt natural. It is disappointing to see some of the outcome of this attack while others are years away from being decided.
Just over a year ago, Change Healthcare suffered a massive cyberattack. What have we learned since then and what consequences has United Health faced?

We have an update! 12 years in federal prison for fraud for Alex Mashinsky. It is nice to see people being prosecuted for their crimes. As to my question of will we see more? It’s looking like that is a strong no.
There is a lot of talk of accountability these days. Here is one example of that in the cryptocurrency space. With the new administration will we see more people like this?

I was doing some final research for my upcoming video and have noticed that Optum and United Healthcare are slowly directing things away from Change Healthcare branding. The Change Healthcare page is an unimpressive landing page currently.
I am sure these companies would like to increase their US manufacturing. Do they have the cash on hand to purchase space or equipment? Do they have the credit for loans? Are loans a smart move? Or will they pass on the cost to consumers? #smallbusiness #tariffs 2/2
Again, nothing new here but it still is a valid point. Apple has reportedly brought in ~1.5 million iPhones since March to have the inventory in the USA to avoid tariffs Nearly all of these small businesses can't afford nearly 1% of this amount of inventory let alone have a place to store them. 1/
Not a single word to help the 33m small businesses in this country. Not from anyone in the administration.

So many buy from China, and don't have alternatives.

So many didn't have the cash to front run the tariffs and buy inventory
Even a 90 pause on tariffs may be enough. If your true goal was to reshore manufacturing, a gradual tariff schedule may have been more appropriate. I’ve seen a lot of talk of this being market manipulation and given how the markets have responded, they may not be off the mark. 2/2
As someone with 10 years of mfg experience, I can start by saying what most others are, spinning up mfg takes time. It’s not an overnight process. In my current job new production equipment has a lead time of 1.5 years. How do they expect someone to spin up manufacturing so quickly? 1/
Even though we know that all the tariffs effect everything, it is always a good reminder to see those industries some might not think of and how they are being affected instead of the typical select few industries.
Here is something else to think about when looking at the #Stockmarket. How many shares are going to be bought up by some of the biggest investment groups? Mergers? How is the top percents going to use this to their advantage to control even more? #tariffs
S&P500 is down 7.5% YTD, NASDAQ is down 13.9% YTD. Interested to see how these numbers hold up 1 month for now.
Non hot take: we will be seeing a downward trend with all of these tariffs. Prices will get passed along to the consumer. As someone with 10 years in American manufacturing, it will take time for supply chains to spin up new lines. Despite the tariffs, they may still be costly to consumers.

Following up on the Change Healthcare cyber attack and the lack of potential consequences they could face is overall interesting. The potential fines have a small cap in comparison to the overall disruption caused by the attack.
as people continue to see the impacts their protests are having. Now that the stock has lost almost all gains since October, it will be interesting to see where it goes from here and at what point the board steps in to take action. Any thoughts on how the protests will impact further? 3/3 #tesla
I think in part these articles are geared towards quelling fear around the dropping stock price. They are trying to show the value $TSLA has and I get why. You are bullish on it and don’t believe the political side of the conversation. I think we may continue to see the decline of the stock grow 2/
One thing I have noticed a lot in the reporting on the recent $TSLA stock decline is a brief mention of Elon’s foray into politics. A lot of sentiment around what the company may do short term and in the next 10-15 years. But I feel that they are missing the point entirely with these articles. 1/
happened at night. If the FAA implements these changes it will make the airspace safer, but in my opinion falls short of holding the helicopter pilots accountable for being outside of their corridors. We will have to see when the final report is released.

the probable cause of the accident. They did give a good recommendation to airspace changes to help eliminate collision risks in the future. Though it does not address why helicopters in half of the atleast once a month TCAS advisories were over their altitude limit and two thirds of instances
Reading through the NTSB's report on the DC crash was very informative. It gives a good overview of the airspace in the area and describes where collision risks could exist. It also still affirms the helicopter was 100ft above its allowed height. What it does not say is why, nor does it give
