ROOFTOP NEWS

I hear birds on the roof. They are tweeting, and chirping, away the haze beneath a grey sky.

Below, the hustle of the day roars by on the main road like piranhas caught in a current. No mountains to climb for escape. Only walls, and roofs, to fiddle on. Spread the word. The city had its own man-made geology.

Stuck to the ground like pheasants, I wonder if people even notice the lumen coming through the haze from the birds on the roofs on this grey morning.
