#Showmeyourknits has prompted me to dig out this little cardi I made for my daughter when she was about 3. It was well worn, going from hip length to bolero style in a couple of years!
I can't put my hands on the pattern - it was by Hayfields - I'll post it when I find it.

Hand-knitted cable, short-sleeved cardigan with a single round wooden button in the centre. Ribbed folded-back collar. Knitted in Aran weight yarn (wool synthetic mix) in a flecked heather colour. Hanging from a wooden coat hanger. Photo has a filter on to enhance the heather colour, which was too pale and not representative of the original.

The beginnings of a mitten for #wipwednesday, knit with 2 strands of Plötulopi - a pure, unspun roving Icelandic wool in Ash heather colour.
The yarn is v fragile as a single strand but knits well double.
Pattern is Lovikka Mittens by Kristin Drysdale.

I've cracked open my 52 Weeks of Scarves book and started pattern no. 50 'Varde'. Yarn is Gilliatt by De Rerum Natura in Forêt colourway, which comes from Arles merino sheep raised in Provence and is gorgeously plump and squidgy.

Loved knitting this jumper in Isager Eco Soft (baby alpaca/ organic cotton mix). Knitted top down with a plait cable running seamlessly down the collar, shoulder and sleeve. German short rows make back longer than front. 3/4 sleeves. Pattern: is Zopf by Midori Hirose. #Showmeyourknits #knitsky

It isn't v practical to be honest, a bit floppy and not v warm! Pattern is 'Millie' by Mode at Rowan.

Super excited to start with these Novita yarns! Still looking for a scarf pattern... Luscious wine colour. Bought recently together with Lettlopi yarn at knitting fair in Nijkerk in the Netherlands. #ShowMeYourKnits 🧶
Photo makes colour more purple, but is actually a mulberry/ wine colour. One skein of Laine X Novita 4 ply super fine and one ball of Novita Edith super kid mohair & silk.
