I've only seen one Terrence Malick on the big screen, Badlands. I'd run for the chance to see another.
The Thin Red Line at home tonight.
Badlands screening was part of TIFF's Jack Fisk series. Fisk did production design on Marty Supreme. Hope it's great and Fisk finally gets his Oscar.

It's not Thanksgiving in Canada but we still get great deals. The best I've seen is six months of CBC Gem for a dollar/month. Live TV and home of many hard to find titles like The Sweet Hereafter, which I've had on my list since glowing praise on the Sarah Polley episode of Team Deakins.

People often miss these types of moments in movies, because in them people are failing precisely due to acting as though they are the hero in a movie.
