I just want the packaging people who proudly put “11g protein per serving” on my 2 serving vegan gf mac and cheese box and also everyone who’s suddenly all about protein to know that a standard original box of Kraft Mac and Cheese has 9g of protein per serving and 3.5 servings for a total of 31g

2) In households experiencing food scarcity, the shelf-life of food is very important. Fresh produce often has a far lesser shelf life than so-called “highly processed” foods. “Highly-processed” foods can be a far more nutrient dense option that produce less spoilage-caused food waste.

Which is worm-brained for at least three distinct kinds of reason. 1) People, especially children, should be able to eat fun foods even if those foods are not always the most nutritious choice. Only being able to eat the most nutritious choice doesn’t engender a healthful relationship to food.

In this case I favor a reading on which the narrator (the poet) is talking to you (the showgirl) because the poet drowned in melancholy and died still singing (like Ophelia does), and the showgirl “dug me [the poet] out of my grave and saved my heart [not me but MY HEART] from the fate of Ophelia”
