FINAL: Cavs 118, Pistons 100

A little deceptive in that Allen, Mobley and Mitchell all played 28 to 33 minutes. Pistons led by 5 midway through the third, but J.B. Bickerstaff emptied the bench on a night Cunningham, Ivey and LeVert sat.

Tobias Harris & Daniss Jenkins 18 each
END 3Q: Cavs 86, Pistons 77

Cavs end the quarter on a 15-1 run. Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart not playing in second half, so Paul Reed and Tolu Smith are splitting center minutes. Strong night for Tobias Harris with 19 points in 22 minutes.
HALF: Cavs 62, Pistons 57

Pistons hold Cleveland to 20 second-quarter points after 42 in the first. Ron Holland scores 11 to lead the Pistons.
END 1Q: Cavs 42, Pistons 31

Pistons fell behind by 16, went on 8-0 run before Mitchell's last-second 3. Cavs 7 of 10 from 3, Pistons 9 turnovers.
Ron Holland's first 2 possessions:

Corner 3
Fake corner 3, drive, made floater, and-one

Third possession, put the ball on the floor and made a nice set-up pass

The Holland jump appears real
Pistons starters at Cleveland for preseason Game 3:

Duncan Robinson, Ausar Thompson, Jalen Duren, Tobias Harris, Daniss Jenkins
FINAL: Bucks 117, Pistons 111

Cade Cunningham took the second half off after scoring 26 in 18 first-half minutes.
END 3Q: Pistons 89, Bucks 89

J.B. Bickerstaff is deep into his bench on a night with no Duren, Ivey, Harris or LeVert. Cade Cunningham scored 26 in 18 first-half minutes and is finished.
HALF: Pistons 72, Bucks 60

Cade Cunningham in 18 minutes: 26 points, 8 of 14, 8 of 8 FTs, 6 boards, 6 assists, 2 steals.

I would suspect he is finished for the night.
Cade Cunningham with 22/5/5 plus 2 steals in 14 minutes. Pistons up 10 with 5:28 left 2Q.
END 1Q: Bucks 33, Pistons 31

Second straight preseason game with a hot-shooting first quarter by the opponent. Memphis opened 8 of 8 from 3. Bucks are 7 of 10 after 1. Cade Cunningham 11 points in 8 minutes.
Cade Cunningham 9 consecutive Pistons points, 4 of 4 shooting. He's pretty good.
Tobias Harris and Jaden Ivey also in street clothes tonight for the Pistons in addition to Jalen Duren.
Preseason Game 2 and J.B. Bickerstaff is mixing it up

Pistons starters:
Cade Cunningham
Ausar Thompson
Ron Holland II
Duncan Robinson
Isaiah Stewart

Jalen Duren remains out with hamstring tightness

This time around, the Pistons know their formula. It's Cade Cunningham, depth, athleticism, versatility and the unmistakable chip-on-the-shoulder aura they've adopted - all on display in the preseason-opening win on Monday.
