🥳 Thrilled to see our article out, #OpenAccess in Government and Opposition Journal! With Zoe Lefkofridi & @nzwiener-collins.bsky.social we investigate the alignment of Western Balkan party programs with EU gender equality demands and how gov/op status & ideology shape attention to gender issues.

POPULISM AND CONSPIRACY were on our minds at our project Research Workshop with colleagues from 🇳🇱 🇪🇸 🇩🇪 🇸🇮🇮🇹 🇮🇹🇨🇭🇦🇹 as well as our university, we discussed some cutting-edge work on this increasingly potent political problem. It was both a productive and fun conference, Krampus and all.
This finally landed in my mailbox. 🥳Reinhard Heinisch and I elaborate on the concepts of sovereignty and sovereignism in relation to populism.
Thanks to the editors Carlos de la Torre and Oscar Mazzoleni, and colleagues for their early feedback in a workshop back in 2021 at the Uni Lausanne.
Very happy to see our book move to the printing stage! 📖 Co-edited with Reinhard Heinisch & Aneta Cekikj, it covers places less well understood like Albania, Armenia, Bosnia, Georgia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. All contributing authors are experts from this region.

Apologies, it must have gotten cut. It is "The insecurity of doing research and the ‘so what question’ in political science: how to develop more compelling research problems by facing anxiety" by Gustafssnn and Hagstrom
