Growing up, I was encouraged & told I write pretty well; the attention to detail.

My friends always loved my race write-ups bc they said they felt like THEY were behind the bars & under the helmet.
Quite proud of that!

PunkinKitty sits atop his favorite rock, overlooking Lake Mendocino. His favorite spot to take a break during our evening walk across the ten-acres that make up the backyard.
His shiny coat, a tabby pattern made from blends of sherbet orange and creamy white, standout under the full moon.
Lake Mendocino reflects the brilliant orange, red, pink, and yellow hues of the sunset while the moon paints the rural pastures and towering Redwoods in a silver-yellow-ish glow.
Punkin sits still, ears perked, listening to the sounds of the evening and the rodents daring to come out....

Those white spots are just part of the rock - like sun bleached or whatever rock chemistry.
