[5] I have a lot of lab practicals this semester where I get home late in the evening. And in a lot lectures, being present is mandatory (they actually check! They make it smart that have to make presentations during the lecture so they can check your presence in class…)

[4] I don‘t have much money as a student. I haven to pay tuition and all living costs myself - I already live at the existential minimum and don‘t have spare money. I work as a teaching assistant at my university, but it‘s only 2 hours a week.

[2] Now my mom has to pay two months worth of rent double (the new and the old) until we moved. It‘s usually the case that it overlaps.
Now I feel bad because this is because of my exams. But unlike in a company, you can‘t just take time off at uni during exams just because you‘re forced to move.

[1] As I have 5 exams in this exact week the moving was scheduled, I had to beg my mom if we could postpone it for another month. It‘s impossible to move AND study and write exams in the same time period.

We found a new apartment. It‘s super near to our current location and cats are allowed. The price is a bit higher, but the other apartment my mom looked at (and wished to get) costed the same. We haven‘t signed it yet. We wait until we receive proper and a written confirmation regarding owning pets.

Well damn, our landlord informed all tenants today that they will knock down the whole building in the near future. Everyone has to move out until March 2027 🫤 So in about 1.5 years. We all will contact the tenants union. Maybe we can gain a bit more time.

This is absolutely stunning! I really love how you‘ve drawn the machine parts of the space shuttle/space station. The window with the reverse text on it is a nice touch! And of course the astronaut floating and admiring outer space/earth looks really amazing!
