If it was a metallic paint it would look shiny all over since it would reflect the light. In this case though I painted in highlights and shadows with flat colors to imitate that same look, even though my paints weren’t metallic.

Non Metallic Metal, it’s a more traditional way of painting metallics instead using hobby paints that have metallic flakes in them.

Getting closer to the finish line on this test dude. Fleshed out the muscly arms (pun intended) and did a quick 30 min NMM session on the knife.

GW must really hate kitbashers, that's like 90% of my enjoyment when it comes to the building side of miniature hobbies. Also immediately makes the Night Lords I'm working on right now illegal under the new rules hah.

That would just be the storyboard department at most places, never mind all the departments later down the pipeline.

Well that’s disappointing. You’d think he’d have a better understanding of how these things are produced after spending so many years working in the film industry. It sounds like he’s never stepped into an animation studio before if he thinks you can count the amount of artists present on two hands.

Completely forgot I had this thing after taking an extended social media break. Dunno how I’m gonna use this account but here’s some stuff to look at in the meantime I guess.
