Very sad to hear of Steve Cropper's passing. I had the privilege of having a drink with him once, in Monaco. It was post gig and The Blues Brothers were playing the same venue the next night, and were staying in the same hotel.

So, I invented a card game for mages, this morning.
Trouble is, it appears that there is actually a real game of the same name and form, and what's more... there's even a sodding book on it!

Caught 20 mins of "Zulu" on TV having lunch, and I genuinely wondered why I wasn't seeing Roy Castle in the scenes, until it dawned on me, that I was actually "mind- mixing" in scenes from Carry On Up The Khyber.

I am so lucky to have lived close to the beautiful Rutland water, and still live fairly near to it now.
A lovely and peaceful place, apart from when Magster and Co, are in the thick of it!
