I’ve never yet been disappointed by a Nicola Walker performance, on stage or screen. This evening once again she really was an absolute triumph in her latest role in The Unbelievers at Royal Court theatre 🙌🏼🎭
Fantastic new awareness campaign #thatshumanism launched today by @humanists.uk with quick animations and lots of easy to access info for anyone of any age and background who is curious about a humanist approach to life. Find it all online here👉🏼 humanists.uk/thatshumanism/
That's humanism!
We've teamed up with our patron Stephen Fry, to explore humanist ideas about some of life’s big questions in four animated shorts.

Looking forward to seeing #EveryBrilliantThing next week with legend #LennyHenry to kick off the new @sohoplace season of this one-person play🎭. Hoping to catch other performances coming up with rotating cast incl #SuePerkins #AmbikaMod #MinnieDriver and co-creator #JonnyDonahoe
Our incredible Lionesses!🙌🏼 You’ve once again made our nation so proud during this whole tournament, and what a result (and of course the obligatory nail-biting penalties)!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️🏆
A mooch around Floral Street in Covent Garden with a stop off for a yummy savoury pastry at the lovely Chestnut Bakery is a civilised way to spend a lunch break on a summer’s day!😎🥐
Disney+ series Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes is so compelling. But it’s frustrating and shocking to watch how this tragedy unfolded. Sadly 20 years on his family may never be at peace until they get the accountability and truthful answers they’re still seeking from Met Police
Definitely recommend #LastOneLaughingUK as remedy for a long week or a cure for everyday woes 👏🏼🤣 Bob Mortimer = national treasure #BestOfBritish
Happy #WorldTheatreDay everyone! 🎭To celebrate here’s a little image collage of just a few of the great theatre experiences I’ve enjoyed since last spring, which had incredible leading female focused performances: The Years (Almeida), The Duchess (Trafalgar), Unicorn (Garrick) #LoveTheatre 🎭
Now the brilliant TV show #TheSplit is no more, it’s a treat to see the superb Nicola Walker acting with @stephenmangan.bsky.social in another fictional marriage!#UnicornThePlay #GarrickTheatre🎭
Happy Chinese New Year / Lunar New Year 🧧🎊 and welcome to 2025 Year of the Snake!🐍
This Christmas marks the 15 year anniversary of my father's sudden and tragic death. In annual tradition, in his memory I’ve made a donation to London Air Ambulance with heartfelt thanks to their amazing crew for their efforts🙌🏼🚁

Wow this is a new twist on the classic Christmas Terry’s chocolate orange but I’m all in!!🤩
My opinion: Ariana Grande 100% carried the whole Wicked movie 🧙🏼🎬🎶🙌🏼
Great news that #TheYearsPlay with its stellar cast is getting a West End transfer!👏🏼🎭I saw it at @almeida.co.uk this summer and was just blown away by these fierce female performances - each individually incredible and a powerful ensemble cast. Strong viewing though; not for the faint hearted!🎭
If anyone out there has accounting experience, maybe a freelancer, and could spare time to provide some minimal support (approx 1-2 paid days per month) to an amazing cause Give a Kidney, working with a wonderful small dedicated team of people please do reach out (info below)!🙏🏼
This giant offering from legendary Tony’s Chocolonely is one of the biggest and sturdiest #adventcalendars I’ve ever been gifted!🙌🏼🍫🎄
Delighted the gallery at our local Pitzhanger Manor #Ealing always has something special in its annual exhibition prog. This time I popped in to the current gem of Grayson Perry’s colourful tapestries giving a modern interpretation of Hogarth’s “A Rake’s Progress” (nice link to Sir John Soane!)🖼️

🧵More in Common have spent the past few months polling & talking to people about assisted dying, we've shared our findings in today's Sunday Times. Speaking to people on both sides has been some of the most moving opinion work I've been involved in. www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...
Two thirds of country back assisted dying
Largest study yet reveals attitudes just days before historic vote, but justice secretary brands bill a ‘state death service’

Incredible and historic news that the #AssistedDyingBill has passed this stage in Parliament and that dignity in death can now firmly be part of an important long overdue national conversation🙌🏼
The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill has passed its Second Reading.

A historic first step to meet the aspirations of the public, who overwhelmingly support having choice, dignity, and compassion at the end of their lives.

Sadly disappointed by the lack of imagination and effort this year at #KingsCross station with this boring Xmas tree🥱🎄But across the way St Pancras at least has a semi-festive commercial promo for the new #WickedMovie🧙🏼
These starter packs are such a fab idea and a great way to help get started here on bluesky with content you actually want! 🤩
So gutting isn’t it. Happened with a friend of mine of over 20 years (found out only a year ago they voted Brexit and ‘quite like’ Trump) and now I’m questioning everything and everyone I thought I knew!
Very puzzled that so few UK news outlets (BBC, Sky etc), plus arts and culture organisations (our national galleries and museums, theatres) are on here. Even the few that have an account are not posting. I can see why they wouldn’t quit Twitter / X yet but why not duplicate posts here?🤷🏻‍♀️
Hi Tanika. I discovered your plays only in the last 5 years or so after seeing your adaptation of A Doll’s House, and more recently The Empress, at the Lyric Hammersmith🎭. Now a big fan🙌🏼
