From reading countless ghost stories, I feel I have the vibe of Residual ghost nailed down. Residual Ghosts are completely desaturated and translucent, which illustrates them well. I think this look terrifying.

This is a shadow person charging the player, trying to give them a scare. They sometimes get irritated with being provoked. Shadow people are not in the demo. So, wishlist on STEAM to keep an eye when the retail version will drop. Then you can investigate all the shadows you dare.

I revised the tutorials walking the player through how to use the equipment. Not only teaching players how the gear works but also walking them through the releasing process.

In Among the Whispers, you have a camera and a camcorder. So, you can capture both photos and videos.

I happened to catch a full-bodied intelligent ghost trying to communicate how he died on my camcorder.

Among the Whispers Provocation is an "Authentic Ghost Investigation Simulation" which also has a dark mystery with puzzles to solve. Find archives within the mansion and unravel the mystery. Inspect each item closely to find clues and learn the story.

In Among the Whispers, you'll need to release the ghosts from haunting locations. To do that you'll need to determine their loves/hobbies in life. Then you can find the relics, which they can relate to, facilitating a connection.

In Among the Whispers the recorder, camera, and camcorder all collect media that you will be able to review live, in-game. This is critical to start learning about the hauntings and bring closure to the ghosts.
