as for your interface: if it's newer than 2014, USB, and works on windows without installing a driver first, it'll work on linux for all purposes. if you have to install a driver to make it work, just google "[interface model name] arch linux" and you'll find out if it works

on-call building manager not reachable directly until recently (only called in by landlord), landlord not reachable most times most days, landlord has turned down a 100% free fibre internet installation, parking lot unpaved, parking lot is not a real gravel road surface (just lazily-dumped gravel)
