The beauty of this move is that the ballot was almost 1m (39”) long! It takes 5x longer to report on such a long ballot. So while the rest of Canada knew the results, Polievre was in limbo until almost 5am when they called his riding (and he lost)

Polievre dubbed “Temu Trump” gets ousted in his own riding by thousands of votes.

Shoutout to the Longest Ballot protestors who blew up the ballot on his local riding - 91 names on the ballot, 85 of whom were protesting election reform.
