"I am Marina. Are you...a sister of mine?"

Did she have the right to call herself that? Marina wasn't supposed to exist, was she?

"You look like me..."
"... who.. are you?"

She's tilting her head. Scared. Not of the stranger but of herself. The few times she's tried to interact with her siblings, it's gone.. rather terrible.

... and she's unsure if the command chip and software were removed. Her memory is all rather hazy and full of gaps.
Blinking. She looks similar to her.

Was she not Reina's clone then? Or was she...either way, she seems to be just as lost as she is.

... Inferior. Pathetic.

Nothing more than a controlled pawn.

That's what she is, deep down, isn't she? A tool. To be used and discarded.

... At least she still has a use.

... right?
Don't forget clone~
It's usually a bingo sheet: Male, female, friendly to Reina, bully, businessperson, Trainer, champion, young, old...

Anything else to add to this bingo sheet?
And there's still so many who just aren't showing their faces...
"...I can't promise that, Father."

She looks up at him. And then in a moment, gives him a hug.

"I'm glad I went through with meeting you. I don't know if we'll meet again, but if we do, I hope it's not as enemies."
"Will I? I'm not even supposed to exist."

She speaks so casually of it, and it's something that bothers her every day.

"Do I have the right to have those feelings?"
"I understand."

She didn't have any drive to stop her father from his plans. The only one she knew and cared about was Freya, and Freya was serving him right now.

"People are complicated, aren't they? I'm still struggling to even understand my friend."
concept of tying someone's life to one person, but...I can tell that you really cared about her."
"She sounds like she was incredible...I wish I had been able to meet her."

Her dad spoke so fondly of her. It was hard to believe this was the same man that wanted to unify everyone as 'one being'.

"She made you happy too. That's why you married her, right? I'm still struggling with the
"Did Mom have that same drive?"

She didn't know Elena. She couldn't have, she was in stasis the entire time. Even if she wasn't, Elena was dead by the time Marina was created.

"I wonder if all of my siblings are like that..."
Reminded of the sounds of the laboratory.

"I don't want to go back to the lab, father. I don't want to be alone anymore, or unaware of anything. I want to be my own woman...and learn about the world."
...would anyone do that for Marina?

Her gaze turned to her father once more upon hearing his musings.

"I came to you because you're my father. Regardless of what your plan was with me, I owe my existence to your mission."

The buzzing and whirring of his mechanical arm made her flinch slightly.
She nods. So there were different ways that people could have their bodies prepared after death. She wasn't sure why that was a thing, but...looking back to the urn, maybe it was because people needed closure. Or wanted to be able to visit their loved ones after their passing.
Cremation wasn't a thing she knew. What she did know is that people stopped moving when they died. She looks up at Aleister.

"Do people shrink when they..."

She looks back to the vase. Thinking for a moment.

"Did you have her body burned when she died?"
Marina follows her father into the living room. She was rather thankful she wasn't being taken back to the lab, the last thing she wanted was to be put back into stasis.

"Mom..."

She looks to the vase. Confused.

"She's in the vase? How?"
Marina struggles to find the words to express what she's feeling right now. Loneliness? Happiness? Fear? Heartache?

"I know I'm not your daughter. Not any of them. I know I shouldn't exist and I'll never replace any of them for you. I...just want to hear you call me 'daughter'. Just once...
"I'm sorry if I'm intruding."

Her voice sounded a bit like Reina's, but lacked a bit of the emotion that Reina put into it. A monotone, from years of no human interaction.

"I...wanted to see you with my own eyes."
(Given Reina is in her early 20's, I figure Marina's of age. She was made as a backup in case Reina died after all.)
"...I have to see him. I know it's probably a bad idea, but..."

She enters. Not knocking, she doesn't know that's what you're supposed to do.

"Father?"
Marina's there. Perhaps drawn there by her tie to the Kingchester line. Whatever it was, it seemed like she was drawn to her 'father's manse.

"Father's mansion...? I...I remembered where it was, but I've never been here before."

Had Reina been here before Marina was made?
Lots of blobs on that ship nearby...at least...they looked like blobs?

Marina's never seen a Ditto before.
She is quite literally attempting to stay out of the battle. The last thing she needed was Reina seeing her. Even if Reina didn't decide to hurt her, Marina didn't want to see Reina at all.

Being reminded of being a lesser being...no, she didn't want to think that. Not right now.
"Are all beaches this gritty feeling?"
"Understood. I'll keep an eye out."

Despite everything, she could sense her friend's nervousness.
"...Stay close to me and make sure the others don't notice us. My curiosity is way too high right now."
The clone is right at Freya's side. She's a little oblivious to the significance of the temple, but she does agree that yes, things are getting strange.

"....Okay. Things are getting a bit chaotic."

Grunt Freya is scowling as she is seeing all these strange figures going inside the temple. It's worrying at this point.
"I think I'd like all Pokemon. No matter where they come from."

Was a clone allowed to have Pokemon? She liked Larvesta, loved its fluffy down, but was she really allowed to have companions like that?
