We saw Disclosure this weekend, which was a lovely show BUT they only did one song from Alchemy, an album I *loved*.

It brings to mind the question: if you go to concerts, what are your white whale songs that you've yet to see performed live?

A couple years ago I found out I only have slight oral food allergies to many tree nuts, minor enough to eat them, very cool. Today I found out chestnut is not one of them, and the tree nut panel during my last allergy test is likely to not have included it. Not cool at all.

PinkPantheress's remix album is apparently featuring Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, Kylie Minogue, and Kaytranada, so a love letter specifically to my household.

finally some good news!!
‘"We never in our wildest dreams would have expected a 75% slowing of clinical progression,”… None of the patients who have been treated are being identified, but one was medically retired and has returned to work. Others in the trial are still walking despite being expected to need a wheelchair.’
Huntington's disease successfully treated for first time
One of the most devastating diseases finally has a treatment that can slow its progression and transform lives, tearful doctors tell BBC.

A little housekeeping thing. The world has been on fire and absolutely distressing. I am unlikely to ever comment on current events here, not from lack of caring, but because I have other spaces for processing those feelings.

I only got to spend a few hours in Luxembourg's capital, but it was enough to experience a charming and steep cityscape. Imagine the very vertical level design of a dark souls world, but well before ruin and poison swamps overtake it.

I'm really excited to share more from the trip later! For the moment: I finally got to see this beauty in person and nearly cried of happiness.

I was SO anxious about this trip beforehand: I've never been away from my kids this long; my global travel muscles have atrophied; what if I'm a professional sham and everyone realizes they've spent $$$ to send an idiot abroad. It was a relief and so fulfilling that everything turned out so well.

I had not gotten more than 4 hours of continuous sleep in a week due to jetlag. I am now home in my own bed and just got 7. I feel superhuman!!!!!

Next week I'll be traveling internationally for work. I am excited but maybe more anxious for a number of reasons, including the decision of whether or not to bring a book I've been excited to read, only have in physical format, and said format probably weighs as much as me.

Experienced the sensation of finishing a book that was difficult to get through and that I did not enjoy on average, but I am very glad to have seen to the end.

The mini games site was designed by @kimnguyen.bsky.social! My buddy Chris was our ARG consultant! It was a fantastic job and I’m genuinely a little sad it’s over.

Oh hey Pillow Fight is in Variety! Me and @horsephone.bsky.social made all the video games on Game Changer Season 7; Jo designed the whole ARG and I wrote pretty much every line of code behind it. 😊
