This is specifically for young/ inexperienced directors seeing the success of other indie animated pilots and thinking they gotta make something grandiose. Make some goofy shorts with your friends before you dive into a huge laborious production. Animation hard.

It would be nice if young artists who reached out to you for feedback would like, say thanks or something lol. I spent a considerable amount of my Saturday writing a fair response and critique that wasn’t a standard “just keep drawing!”. Guys, we may work your “dream job” but we’re fuckin tired!!!

Obviously don’t use Twitter anymore but will occasionally lurk and I’ve noticed every single time I’m on my For You feed there will always be a viral post with a caption like “he’s so right” and it’s that bald streamer guy whose name I do not know

Very glad I didn’t feel any FOMO this weekend having not gone to KK Animated. They made it so that you had to buy an expensive pass rather than individually ticketed events. Saved money and caught up on some sleep instead 👌

The PS5 broke 6 months ago and has just been sitting there, and the 2y.o TV has gross lines baked into it and glitches out when turned on and whenever there’s a power outage the speakers go all fucky and take some time to work again. It’s not the worst thing ever but I’m fuckin tired dude 🫩
