From stencil to dyed fabric — Cabinet of Curiosities
Another wonderful collab with @kirikomade !! This furoshiki (wrapping cloth — you can use it as a scarf or bandanna too!) was designed by me featuring PDX landmarks and a few little quirky details :) available through their brick and mortar and online!
Received two packages of amazing goodies of our collab from Kiriko Made — the most sturdy canvas tote ever! And a shirt of the same design (also thick and sturdy), a dragon tea infuser thermos and a Portland themed furoshiki. So amazing!
Collab leather keyfobs I’m working on with Character Country — the dark blue ones are indigo dyed!
Made a banner for Pendragon’s Labyrinth in downtown Port Townsend! It’s a cool shop — highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.
Awesome collab with Kokoro & Kirikomade — a dragon tea infuser! Check it out on their site under collections -> Kokoro original :)

Would like to help with it? Do you think it would be useful? I genuinely don’t know, I just want off Facebook and there are just a few things making it more challenging.

Might be an old school j-rock fan…
Had such a wonderful time at Fuyu fest, a sake tasting festival run by @sunflowersake ! Got to taste some delicious sake while vending my wares 🍶 I made these maekake (apron traditionally used to promote shops) inspired pieces last minute with the mossy slug stencil — aren’t they cute? #dyework
Just dropped a big banner off at @pendragons_labyrinth — perhaps you’ll see it flying above their shop soon, if you’re local! It’s so much fun working on these big banners; let me know if you have any fun ideas for them! #dyework #resistdye #dragonart
If anyone wants to share a booth for Crafty Wonderland in PDX May 2-3 and you’re able to sell my stuff and break everything down on May 3rd, I will pay the entire booth fee and food costs! Let me know if you’re a maker who is interested.
That looks incredible!!
Are they food safe buckets? Very good to know!!!
Made an order (a tote I’d been covering for a while) from @kirikomade who has been a wonderful client — and a postcard of my work came with it 🥲 it turned out awesome! #workingartist #dyework
I signed up but it’s been super slow (I’m sure from increased traffic). Hopefully in the coming weeks it improves
I know!!! 🫠 alas, I was spending way too much time on there. It was bad!!
It’s like me and the Reddit app — eventually I had to delete it. It really is an addiction! :(
Sorry if it looks like spam — I just uploaded all the older posts from my IG here!
I’m sure you can use it both as a pen AND for magical portal opening :)
Hello! I’m Erika, a nature nerd, hedge witch, parent and artist. I work with a Japanese resist dye method called katazome and will be cross posting art both here and IG (@kimagureya_) — 👋
Yay thanks! It’s a glass pen! You can use it with fountain pen inks or liquid watercolors or botanical ink (pulverized flowers + water?? The possibilities are endless!)
Happy new year! It’s the year of the snake this year — and I worked in this little card for @kirikomade — a wonderful spot in PDX for beautiful Japanese and Japanese inspired work. 🐍 Snakes are one of my favorite animals and one I have a personal connection to. I’m hoping for a better, and more...
