This won't be true in every case, Digimon and Pokemon are unique from each other

However, if you like monster taming games, I believe there's a good chance you'll love Digimon Story Time Stranger! Maybe give the demo a try, the save can carry over to the full game if you get it!

The very first 'Digimon World'...

Update, but don't completely change. I'm aware of the existence of 'Next Order' & while it has its own charm and I enjoy it, nothing beats it's predecessor for me. There are similarities and I appreciate that. But I love the original's pathing, gameplay and story

Been trying to figure her design out for years and still not one hundred perfectly happy or done but might be getting somewhere maybe
