The US failed by allowing Fox to include “News” in their name and never mention that they are really “entertainment”.
People who watch it can claim they thought they were watching real news.
Fox News can just go bankrupt and never pay anyone more for the harm they’ve done.

They’ve got consulting companies working for them that absolutely have been talking to their other clients about whether they would be interested in acquiring all, or part, of that organization.
Saying they’ve had unsolicited interest is almost surely misleading.
