The internet is a bunch of social websites, games, and platforms that people inhabit and form mental connections between due to friendships and memories made within all of those places. It can never be just one unified platform and that's a good thing.

There have been meetings, concerts, art galleries, panels, and plays happening in virtual worlds for decades now. Decades! One company's platform cutting funding doesn't mean the other platforms and games out there don't exist.

It's all the internet and it will continue to be there.

This statue has had such a long history. I remember the hype about it first coming to town. I knew it had placement issues but I just remember seeing it at temp spot. I also don’t believe I saw the finished version.
