The more teams that fire their coaches, the funnier it is that Florida State is keeping Mike Norvell
Guess Kentucky wasn't too cheap to pay that massive guaranteed buyout

$38 million owed within 60 days of the coach’s dismissal.

Extremely rare French W
France hosted a large musical flash mob featuring 100 musicians who came together to perform a new orchestral version of Carol of the Bells to mark the ceremonial switching-on of the Christmas lights in the streets of Paris.

Shoutout to the Pitt band for playing through this disaster of a game even after 90% of the crowd went home. Bands >>>>

I should've known expecting Pitt to do anything good was a mistake

In 2022 I started The Wheel of Time and stopped after book 6 because I'm a coward. Starting from the beginning again, but this time I'm going to finish the entire thing or die trying.

I'm going to Pittsburgh this weekend for Pitt/Miami and Steelers/Bills and I made the mistake of looking at the weather forecast. Ya boy is gonna die.

12(?) years ago we did Christmas in Ohio with my family and my aunt had tables full of cookies and other treats. My dad grabbed one and popped the entire thing in his mouth, only to realize he had grabbed a wax display cookie. We make fun of him to this day, and he refuses to eat cookies around us.
yes, hello, I would like to place an order for everyone’s funniest stories of holiday food-related family grudges / drama / chaotic incidents / lore

I feel like we need this

Started reading "The Rage of Dragons" by Evan Winter yesterday and am already almost done. Starts as an underdog revenge tale but grows into so much more.

I try to engage in book communities online because none of my irl friends really read, but stuff like this drives me nuts. What do you mean you gave up because you didn't care about the characters after ONE CHAPTER?! If I based my opinions off of 1 chapter I'd hate almost every book I've ever read.

My Hero Academia Episode 167 is perfect. Just perfect. The thematic payoff that's been building since episode 1 was soooooo good, and the action was peak too. They're really sticking the landing with this series.
