The Jays spanked a potent Yankees team, spotted a very solid Seattle squad a 2-0 lead before winning 4 of 5 to take the series.

Underestimate the Jays at your peril, they're for real.

Jays in 6.
Hey, that's why they play the games!

And congrats to the Dodgers for winning one of the truly great World Series.
Something tells me Putin has more than a pee tape on Tucker.

Like always, Trump just wants a deal. Any deal.

No matter how bad it is, he gets to say he made a deal.

And so here, just wants "peace" but doesn't care how it happens, or what Ukraine gives up to get it. He just wants to say he made peace.
"... recognizing that arming Ukraine to defeat Russia is in fact the most profitable solution for America"

Fixed that quote for him.
Short version: Send us money.
This screams to be a motivation for U.S. to not do anything to help end the war.

Maybe a better motivation would be, for every dollar NATO gives the US while the war is on they'll double it when the war ends (to continue to keep Ukraine armed)?
They're this close to a real life version of Mad Max.
... around his dacha.
Why do world leaders talk to each other via social media?

I'd think a message this important he'd want to relay to Zelenskyy directly?
As Russia's oil revenue continues to drop there will be even less defense systems for homeland assets available.

And the little that's left will be primarily protecting Putin's home.
(I kid of course, but not entirely)
What do I think?

America is in a very, very dark place and there's very little light at the end of the tunnel.
"The war" he wants them to prepare for is the one to keep Bone Spurs in office after his term ends.
As Russia's oil profits plummet and they grapple with the reality that they may need another very unpopular mobilization soon, Russia is in no position to attack anyone, let alone occupy their land.

More likely they'll continue to try and de-stabilize NATO countries without actual conflict.
This is how Russian leadership is selling their disastrous invasion of Ukraine to the masses: "We're not the bully looking to restore the Soviet empire, we're the victims merely defending ourselves from the evil NATO!"

It only works on Russian State TV thankfully, but it works.
I think it's simple: The only way to react to Russian aggression is with a forceful response.

A forceful response leads us farther away from WWIII as Russia simply cannot afford war with NATO. While a passive/non-response leads us closer as it invites more Russian aggression.
Trump's brain is actually very easy to figure out: He'll back whomever he feels it's in his best interest to, or in the case of neither, who he thinks will win.
Putin's pathological-level of delusion is easy to understand once you accept that the second he shows any weakness or even the slightest lack of confidence in his goals that will be the end of his reign.

It's likely that he will maintain unshakable confidence right up to the moment he's executed.
Too bad his boss doesn't say the same things.
Nonsensical comparison.

Gaza was attacked after their leadership launched a brutal terrorist attack on Israel. Ukrainians were just going to work, living their lives in peace.

Similarities: Both attackers want to rid the earth of the defending states & both have no problem killing civilians.
I think we need to see these repeated provocations for what they signal: Putin's war in Ukraine is going very badly. Oil revenue is drying up from daily Ukr strikes deep inside RU and he's powerless to stop them.

He's not testing NATO he's a scared, desperate bully trying to prove how tough he is.
Hey, in fairness they may need those Patriot systems to combat drug smuggling boats coming in from Puerto Rico. 🙄
A lot can be read into this but one thing's for certain: The mere fact that a highly-ranked American official (in this administration too!) is using the words "Russia" and "weakness" in the same sentence will really piss off Putin and undermine his projection of strength at home and abroad.
One of the key criteria for joining MAGA is that you must take after their leader, which means being an insecure, whining little baby that throws a tantrum whenever some says something you don't like.

(With my apologies to actual babies)
