Twelve Mile, just east of Farmington.
#NoKings in Farmington Hills, MI. At least 1,000 protestors turned out from what I've seen and heard, and it stretched for at least half a mile!
At least 1,000 at #NoKings in Farmington Hills, MI. One attendee said the rally was at least a half-mile long, and on both sides of the street!

Someday soon, I'm going to invest in a music player that allows for CDs and vinyl records, plus a USB port for anything digital. Physical media is still prime media.

Vaccines are safe and effective.

Autism isn't caused by vaccines, and autistic people and their families deserve our support.

When you want information, ask your doctor.

It's more important than ever for all of us to speak plainly, truthfully, and directly about public health.

I love all the variety you have to offer. If I lived closer, I would definitely stop by and buy something.

Trump hates to be the object of humor. He understands that humor can be a more powerful antidote to tyranny than any other form of criticism.

I'm sure he'd hate it if you shared this cartoon. [Cartoon by Jon Adams/The New Yorker]
Deleted my YouTube channel tonight. More proverbial sand thrown into the cogs. I'll tolerate GrayJay, Invidious, and FreeTube as need be.
Because of the outdoor temperature swings, at least one of your tires lost pressure. There are Belle Tire service centers around here with free air, and possibly at some Speedway stations. They're automated, so they'll stop pumping when the PSI on each tire reaches a pre-set number.
I would adore hanging out with you and your crew in person again.

For the generals yesterday, resistance meant total silence. And I thank them for it. But for the rest of us, silence is cowardice. Silence in the face of this daily onslaught against democracy, the rule of law, pluralism, the Constitution, and basic human decency is utter cowardice.

I find this focus on autism very disturbing. Not only are autistic people being referred to as broken, they are being seen as unable to function in society. It is yet another push to try and force those who don't fit the norms to change, rather than society to change to include them
I still will never spend a penny on Hulu. Physical media reigns supreme.

I'm not sure why so many people think autism is automatically bad and that autistic people need to be "fixed". Non-verbal autism is common, but being non-verbal does not mean they can't communicate or have a lack of thought or understanding. Stop infantilizing autistic people

I wish people would stop fixating on causes and cures for Autism and neurodiversity more broadly. It's time people listen to us, especially Neurodivergent people of color, women and others who are often excluded. Let actually Autistic and Neurodivergent people take the lead. This shouldn't be hard.
Is this a special kind of sewing machine? I realize there are many models out there, but I take it this particular unit has value to you. I'm deeply sorry this is causing you suffering.

Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game.

The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.
I poked around a rummage sale and flea market in the area, read a couple of chapters in a book on Michigan highway bridges, cooked lunch for myself, spent time with Dad for breakfast, grocery shopped, and played a video game.

We shouldn’t be disparaging how anyone chooses to keep safe right now. That’s going to be very individual and must be respected for the forseeable future. Don’t tell people their risk assessment is bogus. No one knows what they’re doing, and what you’re doing might not be best for someone else
