The way this fanbase has been treated, especially during this nightmare of a season and the way players have been treated, especially our veterans, all starts with Elias. I get teams move in different directions but the way he just tosses players aside like they’re yesterday’s trash is diabolical.

I already have anxiety so I do this in daily life, but as long as Elias is in charge I’m bracing myself and preparing for the worst. He has stolen a lot of the joy I had for this team in a very short amount of time and also has lost just about all of my respect.

I want to have a more positive outlook with this team but every day Elias & co or an announcement finds a way to put my guard back up. It’s breaking my heart that the team I love so much has me feeling this way. Thanks a lot, Elias. I’m on my knees begging that a change is made so I have SOME hope.

If the Orioles hire Mansolino I will reach a new level of pessimism about Orioles leadership

It would be a commitment to insulating themselves against outside ideas and perspectives

It would broadcast a complete unwillingness to adapt

Their silence is infuriating though. Other clubs are coming out and saying they’re conducting interviews with multiple candidates. Saying they’re making coaching changes in the near future. Yet Elias continues to march to the beat of his own drum when his ass should be on fire. Where is the urgency?

I just feel like the longer they wait, the more likely it’s going to be. They can’t keep coming out and say they plan to compete next season and keep doing more of the same things and keep settling. If he sticks with Mansolino that’s just Elias’s way of saying he’s running the show himself.

Ryan Ripken replying to someone on the other site saying he won’t be surprised if Mansolino is brought back as manager for 2026 has me bracing myself and preparing for the worst. Doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true, but being the son of one of the partial owners, well, doesn’t have me feeling great!

Elias is absolutely going to allow the Padres to hire Flaherty and use it as an excuse to hire Mansolino and he already has the writers preparing us, isn’t he. I will crash all the way out.

With so many openings, it seems possible that the Orioles job, which initially seemed to be the most enticing, is now just one of the most desirable jobs. The Braves, Giants and Padres are also teams that have the potential to contend in 2026.

Does the sudden proliferation of managerial openings complicate the search for Elias?

He could always circle back to Mansolino, who was 60-59 after replacing Hyde. Elias said that Mansolino would be “a real candidate.”

Mansolino, who was listed as the second choice behind Flaherty with 4/1 odds, developed solid relationships with Elias, players, coaches and the media.

13 years ago today, the O’s lost in the ALDS (after NO ONE expected them to be there) and @kerrylyn130.bsky.social & I randomly got in the car and drove down to Baltimore to welcome the team home. Wonder what/where the “crazy videos” are??? 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

I just shook hands with Showalter, and the entire Orioles team. They made sure to thank all the fans individually as they walked by. AMAZING. Crazy videos to come later!! <3

For example, why would the Orioles want multiple INFs for Adley that you don’t want anymore, especially a 3B when Westburg exists, and why would we want a platoon LH outfielder when we already have a thousand LH hitting outfielders. The O’s need an ace level pitcher. Not more of the same. No logic.

Trades are swaps where one team gives talent to get talent back. Some of you think a trade takes place when there’s a player or multiple you don’t want anymore because you think they “suck,” so you just dump them for the other team’s stars for your taking. 🥴
