I also just beat Asbury Pines, and my thoughts are pretty similar to Kastel’s. It’s a very interesting game and an object that I feel like I can rotate in my head for a very long time. Lots to think about, even the parts that don’t feel quite right

finished Asbury Pines last night.
i have some issues with the game when it comes to the worldbuilding, but there are a few impressive scenes at the endgame that i’m still thinking about what the game is trying to say.

i’ve been playing Asbury Pines (store.steampowered.com/app/2212790/), which is technically in Early Access but the entire scenario is done.
all i can say is it’s a narrative game that uses incremental mechanics to tell a gigantic story that starts from being a Twin Peaks clone to something cosmic.

finished Asbury Pines last night.
