Another October means another attempt to get into horror in October and not be a scaredy cat.

This year’s progress:
- X Trilogy (X, Pearl, Maxxxine)
- Alien prequels (Prometheus, Alien Covenant)
- Annihilation (more sci-fi thriller but got into the sci-fi kick after alien)
- Definitely, Maybe

Last year I finally got into horror after watching a ton of horror movies in October. Here’s my list for this month so far. Any other recommendations?

I have been using it with all my D&D games (in person or online) for about 2 years since I started working on it. And its totally free to use if you don't need the cloud syncing functionality!

Here's a getting started video: youtu.be/qRrdCpUjyyw

The cloud syncing feature for sidequest.tools is now live with the Premium plans! If you are a GM and run D&D 5e check out Encounter Clash for tracking your combat encounters.

I have a discount up for Lifetime too: $30 for the next week. It's a one-time payment with no recurring subscription.

Got a bunch of stuff done for sidequest.tools. The big one is sync, been working on that for a while and very happy with where it's at

- Exporting Bestiaries as CSV files
- Lots of little bug fixes
- Account signups open
- Full cloud sync w/ premium accounts coming later this week

Breaking Google up was one of the last best hopes for preventing the free press from getting squeezed into oblivion and harvested into AI slop, and for saving the open web. The ruling that effectively lets Google continue operating as a monopoly isn't just disappointing, it's a disaster.
One of the last, best hopes for saving the open web and a free press is dead
The Google ruling is a disaster. Let the AI slop flow and the writers, journalists and creators get squeezed.
