Going to PASS Data Summit and teaching two days with @erikdarling.com really brought me back to reading and writing technical blog posts regularly. I've got posts queued up through Jan 19 and a bunch more outlined and ready to write. Feels good.

I made a green Thai curry tonight by sautéing potatoes, carrots, onion till soft. added curry paste and a can of drained chickpeas, 1/4 cup salsa, 2 tsp red pepper flakes. added soy sauce, can of coconut milk, some cooked chicken, lemon juice and a TBSP of sugar. Reduced a while. Served with rice.

Yeah, so I'm late diagnosed ADHD. Holy shit, you really CAN just decide things and do them, and that's what they mean by "Executive Function."

I remember being a kid and watching my mom apply hand lotion after every time she got her hands wet at the sink. I didn't really get it, but now I realize that at a certain age one's cuticles and nails become THE DRYEST SUBSTANCE ON EARTH and this is required.
